Assessment center · Pre-employment assessment

Professional candidate assessment, transparent all the way

HRAI’s assessment center is an online pre-employment assessment that measures how a candidate works with AI, how fast they learn, sustained performance, work personality and judgment. Every score comes with a confidence interval, every report is a draft until a qualified professional signs it, and there is no camera or face analysis.

The assessment center: assessments by job, a test library, item bank and fairness, with a note that results are drafts until review

The problem

What is wrong with a typical online test?

It bans AIAnd so it measures conditions that do not exist in the job.
A score without a rangeA four-point gap that looks like a verdict.
Camera and faceVisual proctoring that has been documented as discriminatory.
A score, not questionsWhat should we ask at the interview? The report no longer says.

Five modules

What does the assessment measure, and how?

Every score is reported with a confidence interval, and the report is a draft until a qualified professional signs it.

Plus Shield: validity controls that flag results for an assessor to review. No flag disqualifies on its own.

The modules

Which modules are in the assessment center?

Each module has a short English name used in the product and a Hebrew name on Israeli reports. A job uses the modules it needs, which sets the length of the assessment.

The assessment modules: name, Hebrew name, what it measures

AIQAIQWorking with AIThe candidate gets a model and is measured on the quality of use: was the answer checked against a source, or submitted as it came.

In practice

How does it stay transparent and supervised?

01 · Transparency

The real numbers, including the weak ones

A good selection battery explains between 20% and 30% of the variance in job performance. Not more.

  • Candidates are compared on the bands, not on the point
  • Overlapping intervals look overlapping
  • Provisional norms are labeled as such on every report until calibration on a real sample
  • Modules still collecting validity data are sold as supplementary information, not as a main predictor

A confidence interval on every score

What the assessment never does

  • No continuous recording, no face analysis, no emotion recognition
  • Application telemetry that is not biometric data, declared in advance
  • The system does not recommend hiring or rejecting; the decision belongs to the organization
  • Every candidate receives personal feedback at the end
The output: Every measured gap produces a structured interview question, attached to the candidate card in recruiting.
The assessment center: results are drafts until the recruiting team’s final review and approval

Who uses it

Who works with the assessment results?

Recruiter

Assigns an assessment to a job and reads the draft report next to the candidate card.

Qualified assessor

Reviews flags and signs the report; until then it is a draft.

Hiring manager

Gets structured interview questions for the gaps that were measured.

Candidate

Takes it on a phone or computer, with saved progress and personal feedback.

Frequently asked

What people ask before they start

How accurate is it?

A good selection battery explains roughly 20% to 30% of the variance in job performance, and no more. We publish our numbers and the state of the validity data for each module. Anyone who promises more is not being precise.

What if the candidate uses AI?

In one module we want them to: the quality of AI use is what AIQ measures. In the others, validity controls (Shield) flag unusual patterns for review by an assessor. No flag disqualifies a candidate on its own.

Is the candidate filmed?

No. There is no continuous recording, no face analysis and no emotion recognition. Only usage telemetry from the application is collected, it is not biometric data, and it is declared to the candidate in advance.

How long does it take?

Between 25 and 55 minutes, depending on the modules chosen for the job. It runs on a phone or a computer, and progress is saved, so a dropped connection does not mean starting again.

Is the assessment in English?

The module names have English forms in the product (Compass, Junction, Marathon, AIQ, Momentum), and the interface is available in English. The content was built for the Israeli market in Hebrew; ask in the demo which modules are available in the language your candidates need.
